Future Continuous Tense

Sebelum kita masuk ke tense ini lebih jauh ada baiknya kita mengingat2 kembali postingan kita tentang Present Continuous Tense, karena kedua tense ini sangat mirip cuma perbedaan pada penggunaan to be, klo pada Present Continuous Tense menggunakan Will / Shall sedangkan pada Present continous Tense menggunakan am / is / are 

Future continuous tense ini digunakan untuk menunjukan suatu kegiatan yang sedang berlangsung / segera dilakukan pada suatu saat tertentu pada waktu mendatang, khususnya jika kita mebayangkan (imagine) bahwa kita sendirian yang akan melakukan kegiatan itu, untuk menunjukannya, Future continuous tense sering menggunakan kata work, learn, live, rain, sit, wait yang biasa menunjukan suatu kontinuitas pada masa datang.

Formula

S + Shall / Will + be + Ving

Example :

1.   We will be doing these English Exercise before 5.00 o’clock this afternoon

2.   I will be leaving for padang by train if you come to my house at 7.00 o’clock tomorrow afternoon

3.   I will be returning these books to the library if you come to pick me up at my house at 9.00 o’oclock tomorrow morning

Future continuous tense juga digunakan untuk menunjukan sesuatu yang telah direncanakan atau diputuskan sebelumnya

Example :

1.   My father n mother will be spending their summer holidays in hawai next month

2.   Irma and sri will be going to shop at the city center tonight

3.   I will be meeting my father at the airport this afternoon

Negative Sentence

Untuk kalimat menyangkal (negative Sentence ) kita cukup menambahkan “NOT” sesudah will / Shall

Formula :

Subject + will / shall + not + verb-ing + object

Example:

1.   My father n mother will not  be spending their summer holidays in hawai next month

2.   Irma and sri will not be going to shop at the city center tonight

3.   I will not  be meeting my father at the airport this afternoon

Interrogative Sentence

Penggunaan Future Continous Tense pada kalimat Tanya kita cukup meletakan Will / Shall diawal kalimat tepatnya didepan subjek

Formula :

Will/shall + subject + be + verb-ing + object

Example :

1.   Will My father n mother be spending their summer holidays in hawai next month?

2.   Will Irma and sri be going to shop at the city center tonight

3.   Will I be meeting my father at the airport this afternoon?
